How do I distribute my music with Yung Lee Records and what are the types of record deals you offer?
We provide the kind of support that helps artists become the best authentic version of themselves. Please contact us via the Contact Form with your details, future demos and a short pitch on why you’d think you’d be suitable to work with us!
-
Is there an option to only either mix or master my songs with Yung Lee Records?
No, if you’re specifically looking to collaborate on a special project with our mixing and mastering engineer - please contact us via the Contact Form under “General Enquiry” stating your unique request in detail. We've developed a process that approaches mixing and mastering very differently from the industry standard, allowing us to reach the loudness, depth, and clarity we target for every treatment.
-
What are your policies on refunds & cancellations?
We do not allow refunds or cancellations once Mix+Master or consulting sessions have been booked and paid for. For contingency, we offer a low-cost Mix+Master consultation so you can assess whether our services are the right fit before committing to a full treatment. Please check the Consulting page for more information.
-
Does Yung Lee Records manage artistes?
No, we do not manage our artistes. The goal of our services is to provide as much autonomy and on-ground freedom to our artistes as possible. Our work with signed artists focuses on supporting the audio they release through us. Any work we do with external clients for the artistes we sign usually only involve the synchronisation and licensing of the music they release with us.
-
If I were to book a Mix+Master session without a prior Mix+Master consulting session, will I be in safe hands?
Yes, our support form provides you with ample opportunity to fill us in on the sonic direction you want for your music. If there are any queries or suggestions we have on your requirements, we will definitely be in touch.. Although do keep in mind that when you choose our services you entrust us with our vision for the final touch and presentation of your music (the final master & deliverable).
-
Are consulting sessions private and confidential?
Yes, all sessions are meant to be private and confidential. Any sharing and advice are meant to suit your needs and plans only. Everything we share is tailored to your needs and goals. Our advice is designed to strengthen your artistic integrity, never compromise it. Please be sure to always clarify this with us at every opportunity during all Consulting sessions.
